Experiential Learning
Students learn in cutting-edge laboratories and gain hands-on experience with advanced engineering software and equipment. Small classes mean direct interaction with core faculty in an interdisciplinary environment that lets you engage with peers and faculty across various STEM disciplines. In both lab and field settings, you can collaborate on faculty-mentored research teams.
Mechanical Engineering Research Track
The mechanical engineering research track enables exceptional students to pursue a faculty-mentored research experience for two to four consecutive semesters at 0.5 or 1.0 course units per semester. Participation for the summer is contingent on a successful faculty-student application to TCNJ’s Mentored Student Undergraduate Experience (MUSE). The student will receive up to 2 course units that apply to two of the four mechanical engineering electives.
