Who Should Pursue This Program?
This 30-credit program is ideal if you’re a certified, working K–12 teacher who wants to either earn an initial master’s degree or move to master’s +15 or 30 levels on the salary guide.
Careers
Our graduates are not only well-prepared for advanced roles with additional responsibilities but also typically able to advance on the salary guide. This program is not a transition to school administration and does not offer additional certification.
Application Requirements
For your application to be considered complete, you must submit the online application as well as all supplemental documents.
- National Standardized Admission Test: Applicants are only recommended to take the GRE if their undergraduate GPA is below 3.0.
- Teacher Certification and Educational Experience: Applicants to the MEd Educational Leadership: Instruction program must provide a teaching certificate or evidence of successful educational experience under a valid provisional or standard New Jersey or equivalent out-of-state certificate (NJAC 6A:9-12.5). This program is open to working K-12 teachers at any point in their careers.
