This 33-credit program focuses on the core issues of schooling, curriculum, and instruction with a goal of enhancing your skill set to build strong learning communities and efficiently manage schools. Combine online coursework with a hands-on administrative internship and a professional portfolio assessment. Upon completion, you’ll be ready to lead a school and apply for initial certification as a New Jersey School Principal* and for your Supervisor Certification*.

Who Should Pursue This Program?

This program is ideal if you’re a college graduate with at least three years of full-time experience working in an educational setting as a certified teacher or a staff member, and you want to make an impact – both in your current position and through future leadership opportunities. The online coursework accommodates busy working professionals, and synchronous video meetings create a sense of community among students and faculty.
