Application Requirements
For your application to be considered complete, you must submit the online application as well as all supplemental documents. TCNJ takes a holistic approach to reviewing our applicants, considering students’ abilities and involvement beyond academics.
Minimum Criteria:
- A bachelor of science in nursing from an accredited university or college with a GPA of 3.4 or higher on a 4.0 scale
- RN licensure
- Official transcripts from all prior institutions
- References from two individuals who can evaluate your academic performance, relevant work experience, and/or ability to pursue graduate study.
- Work experience: Minimum of 6 months as an RN or 1 year of employment in a direct patient care area (including patient care assistant or tech); Minimum of 3 years of experience in a NICU.

- The application fee is currently $75. Applications can only be reviewed with payment of this non-refundable fee. This fee is waived for students who formerly enrolled at TCNJ and for specific programs.

Curriculum
RNs with a bachelor’s degree in nursing who wish to enter advanced practice as nurse practitioners may complete this MSN program in two academic years of full-time study plus two summers.
