With a BSN, you’ll be well-positioned to take advantage of the many opportunities in nursing and its avenues for continual growth and advancement. Students can also pursue advanced studies in management, advanced practice specialties such as nurse anesthetist and nurse practitioner, or research and teaching careers, among other options. TCNJ graduates lead challenging, fulfilling careers in advanced nursing and management, policy, and leadership at regional, national, and international levels. Six months after graduation, 100% of our recent graduates who sought full-time employment are working. Notably, the average RN salary in New Jersey is nearly $95,000.

State-of-the-Art Facilities
Our students start getting hands-on clinical experience during the first year of the program. You’ll have access to two simulation labs — a state-of-the-art high-fidelity lab and a practice skills lab — plus the opportunity to work with realistic mannequins and use the latest virtual reality to practice interacting with patients and families.
Faculty
Learn directly from nationally recognized nursing faculty who know their students by name; you won’t find TAs or mass lectures here. You’ll receive one-on-one guidance from the same faculty advisor all four years to help guide your education and ensure your success. Our nursing students often work on faculty-mentored research and have an opportunity to co-publish and present at national and international conferences.
