Computer science at TCNJ is hands-on, team-based, and project-centered — as it is in the real world. You’ll take courses in exciting fields like software engineering, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity while learning to solve real-world problems through computing and cross-discipline collaboration. Our program is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology , and we continually revise content to incorporate the latest advances and technologies as well as the recommendations of ACM/IEEE Computing Curricula. You’ll graduate well-prepared to tackle today’s biggest computing challenges and launch a rewarding career.

Accelerated/Dual-Degree Options
Get a jumpstart and enter the workforce with a master’s or professional degree. Accelerated options get you there faster and more affordably through fewer semesters of classes. Dual degrees offer a streamlined path to earning two degrees, often with direct admission to the graduate portion.
MEDICINE
Computer Science + Medicine, BS/MD — NJMS
First-year applicants can gain direct admission to New Jersey Medical School in this Seven-Year Medical Program (3+4).

Many jobs in the field don’t require a graduate degree to get hired. Typical career paths include software engineering, software development, systems analysis, data science, cybersecurity, database design, digital forensics, and digital copyright law.
